PAX Mobile Fall Detection

  1. Charge and activate your PAX unit. Insert the Power Cord into the Charger. Plug the large end of the power cord into a standard wall outlet. Place the PAX in the charger. The device will automatically turn on and begin activation. Follow the voice prompts until directed to connect to your response team.
  2. Test your PAX unit. Your PAX mobile fall detection system will work right out of the box. Press and hold the call button. Your response team will answer shortly to customize the PAX and complete set up. After the call, charge the device in the charger for 4 hours. Then it is ready to use.

Kelsi Mobile Medical Alert

  1. Charge your Kelsi unit. Plug the large end of the AC Wall Charger into an electrical outlet. Connect the Kelsi mobile medical alert to the AC Wall Charger. 
  2. Test your Kelsi mobile medical alert. Your Kelsi unit works right out of the box. Press and hold the help button for two seconds to speak to an operator. Inform the operator that you are testing the system. They will verify your name and address and reset your system.

Wireless Medical Alert

  1. Plug in cellular adapter. Plug the cellular adapter’s power cord into a power outlet. Slide the power switch from the OFF position to the ON position.
  2. Connect the POM unit to the adapter. Your POM unit comes connected to a phone cable. Plug the loose end of the cable into the cellular adapter.
  3. Plug in POM unit. Plug your POM unit’s power cord into a power outlet.
  4. Test your new medical alert system. Press your personal help button. You will hear a few short, loud beeps while the system connects to the Command Center. During initial installation, a response can take up to 3 minutes. Inform the operator that you are testing the system. They will verify your name and address and reset your system.

NOTE: All 3 LEDs should turn solid green in 2 minutes. If the “STAT” (status) LED is solid red or yellow, the cellular adapter does not have adequate cellular signal strength and will need to be relocated. After relocation, press the blue button on the front of the adapter to reset the connection.

  1. Plug in power cord. Plug your POM unit’s AC power cord into a power outlet.
  2. Plug in telephone cord. Your POM unit comes connected to a phone cable. Plug the loose end of the cable into a phone jack.
  3. Plug in phone (Optional). To use the same phone jack for a telephone or answering machine, plug the device’s cable into the jack on your POM unit.
  4. Test your new medical system. Press your personal help button. You will hear a few short, loud beeps while the system connects to the Command Center. During initial installation, a response can take up to 3 minutes. Inform the operator that you are testing the system. They will verify your name and address and reset your system.
