The Mount Mitchell and Blue Park Ridgeway are popular hiking destinations. In northern Piedmont you can find the best of all activities. Here you can hike, rock climb, bike, canoe, kayak, fish, tube, and even zip line! What Is A Medical Alert System?

At Alert1, our medical alert systems can give you protection to continue doing the activities you love. A medical alert system is a button you wear around your neck or around your wrist. If you need help, simply press the button to get help.

When you press your help button, you will be connected directly to the Alert1 Command Center. A trained operator will come on the line to speak with you. If you need help, they can send you personalized responders. When you sign up, you will create your Circle of Care - your list of responders. You can call whomever you need in an emergency, including 911, your neighbor, or your family. We will stay on the line with you until they arrive so that you always have a calming and caring person with you.
